Who are we?
Founded in Benghazi, Libya, in 2019, by principal architect Sarri Elfaitouri amidst complex inter-war social, political and cultural intensities, Tajarrod has been working ever since as a necessary supportive think-tank for young intellectuals, architects, and artists, to think critically together about the creative means through which positive cultural, social, and political transformations could occur. Our work is situated in inter/trans-regional scales, operating through North Africa and beyond, conceiving the context as a generative resource of broader knowledge and spatial production.
